This Enlightenment Text (Text) has been prepared by  Empress Mucevher Ticaret A.S. (Gilan or Company or We) in its capacity of Data Supervisor for the purpose of enlightening  you about the personal data processing activities, realized by us in accordance with article no 10 of Personal Data Protection Law  (KVVK) No: 6698 and to explain what kind of cookies have been used in our website and how you will be able to control them.

As Empress Mucevherat Ticaret A.S. (Gilan or Company or We), we are benefiting from some technologies (“Cookies”) such as gifts, pixels, cookies to develop your experience during your visit to our on-line channels.  The utilization of these technologies are realized in accordance with the legislation, particularly Personal Data Protection Law  (KVVK) No: 6698, which we are subject to. The purpose of this Cookie Enlightenment Text is to inform the website users/members/guests (“Data Owner”) about the processing of the personal data, obtained by using cookies. Your personal data, which is processed by Gilan in accordance with the law, will be able to be transmitted to our suppliers  for the purposes, specified in the foregoing  article no. 1 within frame of the conditions, mentioned in article no 8 and 9 of KVVK.

Various type of cookies are used during the operation of Gilan Internet Website.  Your personal data is obtained through these cookies and they are processed and transmitted within frame of the operation conditions (explicit consent, their being mandatory for carrying out the legal liability and legal benefit of our company) specified in article no 5 of the law.

Persistent Cookies: These are cookies, which are saved and continue to remain in the device after the scanner is closed or protect their validity  until they are deleted by the user.

1. Click the part with three dots on the right top corner of your scanner and go to the Settings.
2. After pressing the button of “Select The Items To Be Cleaned” in the screen, which will e opened, mark the parts you want to clean. Complete your transaction by pressing the Save button.

Google Chrome

1.  Click the part with three dots on the right top corner of your scanner and go to the Settings.
2. Click Advanced on the page, that will be opened.
3. Click the Content Settings under “Confidentiality and Security”
4. Click Cookies, after that All Cookies and Internet Website Data and then click Remove All.
5. Approve your selection by clicking  Clean All.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Click Firefox menu button and choose Selections.
2. Open Confidentiality and Security panel and go to the History section.
3. Change the Firefox setting as “Use Private settings For History”
4. Click Show Cookies button and screen the cookies window.
5. Write the name of the website, whose cookies you want to delete in the search section. The cookies, that will match with your search will be displayed.
6. Select the cookies you want delete and after that click on Delete Selections button. 

Safari

1. Press the  Preferences button and click Confidentiality afterwards.
2. Click “Website Data” button from the window, that will be opened.
3. Select the internet website or websites, whose cookies you want to delete and press the Delete button afterwards.

• The Rights, You Have in Accordance With Article No: 11 of KVVK  :

In accordance with article no. 11 of the law; the personal data owners have the right (i) to learn whether any  personal data, related to them has been processed or not (ii) if they have been processed, to demand information related to this (iii) to learn the purpose of processing of the personal  data and whether they have been used according to their purpose or not (iv) to know the third parties in and abroad, whom the personal data has been transmitted (v) to ask for correction if the  personal data has been processed wrong or incomplete and the transaction, which will be made in this respect to be informed to the third parties, whom the personal data has been transmitted (vi) although they have been processed in according with the provisions of the related law and regulations, to ask for deletion or destruction of the personal data when the reasons of process disappear and  the transaction, which will be made in this respect to be informed to the third parties, whom the personal data has been transmitted (vii) to object the results, which will occur against the personal data owner as a result of the analysing of the processed personal data through automatic systems exclusively and (viii) to demand their losses compensated in case the personal data has been processed contrary to the law.

The requests, related to the using of the aforesaid rights, will be able to be forwarded personal data owners  to Gilan at the address of Molla Fenari Mah. Bab-ı Ali Cad. No: 9/4 Fatih-ISTANBUL in written according to the “Directive About  Methods and Procedures of Application to Data Supervisor”.
